My "new" DJ

Hello,

I have been a Rolex enthusiast and owner since 2002. When it came time to have my 5513 Sub serviced, I decided to help ease the pain of not having the watch for a few weeks by buying another Rolex. I went polar opposite and picked up a 1603 TT DJ with black face.
See image below....

A couple of questions, the serial is 2157***, the bracelet is 62523 H14 with 402b ends. Is this the original bracelet for the watch? I have no history on this piece at all. Any info appreciated!!

Hey Guy! Nice watch! Welcome to TRF. According to the book I have, that is the original bracelet. 62523 402b ends = SS/18K Jubilee, 20mm DJ or TOG. The serial and H14 have me stumped though.

Welcome to TRF!

That's a stunning DJ!

Congrats!

According to this list over serial numbers, the serial number 2157*** would put the manufacture to the 1969/1970 years.

Thanks everyone! I am really getting into this watch. I was partial to a full SS watch but the gold and black go so well together. I miss my Sub but this one makes it almost bearable.

Looking forward to spending more time over here
