Food for thought...The only way to minimize the ware/scratches on any given watch is to have many to rotate from and be extremely "wrist aware"

LEAVE IT ALONE....more to come and if you mess up with the cape cod it will drive you more crazy than if you left it all alone. Great watch...enjoy it.

It's not the first watch to have it happen, and it won't be the last.
You've just discovered the downside to having PCL's.
As stated previously, it's character building.

You have two options:

(1) Buff it out and put the watch in a safe forever

(2) Forget about it and enjoy the watch

I suggest you go with #2.

Everybody is different scratches bother some people and others not. The problem with PCL's is you would be like a dog chasing his tail trying to keep it scratch free. I think your best bet is what most all are saying is just enjoy that beauty otherwise you will be spending all your time buffing them out. It is a beautiful watch and my advice for what it is worth is just enjoy it ... Happy Holidays.
