Concern re vintage day-date positional amplitude and beat error.

I have a 18238 (yellow gold day-date)
from 1991. Getting amplitude dial up about 260 and crown down about 230. Beat error dial up .9 and crown down 1.4. Am concerned - particularly re high beat error - but watch keeps a consistent +6 in daily use. Not sure when last serviced. Thoughts? Many thanks!

(Couldn't seem to find what I needed by searching old threads.)

The horizontal amplitude should be at least 270 degrees and the beat error should be under 0.8 in every position.
The reason it's not doing so well, is most likely a lack of fresh oil.
