Insert and hands as near as I can tell from the photo. Crystal looks to be original as does the bracelet. Actually the bracelet may be older- I think these were wearing 93150's by '78. That is a 9315. Have to have the date code off the bracelet. From memory I think 1978 would be C or VC date code.

Insert service, not sure what looks service about the hands from that one pic (they look like a nice match to me).

In my opinion, 5.4 serial is indeed late for a 9315. But if it's in decent condition, it's probably worth as much or more than a 93150 so you shouldn't have any trouble getting into a correct 93150.

The bezel looks a tad off to the right.

The pitting and the rubbing/aging between the lugs is a very good sign. I find it funny when someone has a 40 year old watch and the serial and model number look like it was made a few weeks ago. Because it probably was. I would remove the back and view the movement. Also on the inside it will show service history. Dealers normally write on the inside the date of service, at least the past 10 or so years.

Although I generally agree with you Robert on those points, my 9411 from 1978 has very little bracelet wear (but it does have some) and zero corrosion on the case back. Plus original crystal and crown. Totally unmolested.

Sometimes watches get babied, but the old saying: 'if it's too good to be true...' absolutely applies.

You have to look at the sum of the parts to decide if it is in fact aftermarket parts/Frankenstein or just something that was warn on a strap rather than bracelet for example, or maybe not the taste of the recipient and sat unworn in a drawer for 30-odd years...

Looks ok on the back side. Some genuine looking gunk caked in there.
