Some 16800 watch porn from ABC
I had planned on sending my matte 16800 out to ABC for service and was really torn on whether to let them do their magic on the case. After speaking with Edvi and some TRF members, I decided to take the plunge let them polish (GASP!) my vintage watch. Unfortunately, I dont have macro "before" shots of the lugs but results were amazing. I have a few pics from when I bought the watch in Spring 2014 of the lugs but they arent close-ups like the ones Edvi sent of the finished product. I have had some other watches with them and cant recommend them enough. Now...onto the pics!

thanks everyone. i love the patina these 16800s develop. ive toyed with the idea of flipping it for a 1680 red but i love that i can now enjoy the modern aspects of the reference like wearing it on beach vacations. and ill never find a bezel like this. it changes from black to navy to grey to blueberry depending on the lighting. this pic is pre-ABC and at 35,000 feet in direct morning sunlight.

Edvi is the man!... ABC gave my 16710 the treatment and it came out spectacular!
Interesting how the watch looked less polished after I sent it to him... that's the sign of a true craftsman!

Looks great. I was skeptical at first, but looks really good and still plenty of meat on the case. Nice work. Love the insert.

Ok i have said it thousand times, i'll say it once more.
The guys@ABC are Gods. When it comes to refinishing and case polishing, they are playing alone. I have thought a lot of times to send my 16710 from Greece to refinish it, but i am afraid of the round trip shipment. To the OP: Just PERFECT |
