Breitling Chronograph Solid 18K RG - Vintage 1940s - $1250 Shipped

I am offering a vintage 1940s Breitling chronograph in solid 18k rose gold for your consideration. It is running well and the chrono functions properly. The piece is powered by a Venus 170 with Breitling signed bridge. It is 36mm w/o the crown, 18mm lugs. Engraved on the back, faint now, is an inscription in German, the only word I recognize is “Berlin”. On the reverse of the caseback is the 750 hallmark.

The Breitling is mounted to a nice and simple black leather strap. Another brand in box HR strap will be included in the sale.
