Diver watch

i own and love my explorer II polar (39mm) and am a rolex lover. i also have oris bc3, ebel le modulor and an automatic victorinox.
i d love to buy a diver watch. i dont like the new sub, but like the previous one.
the no date is always black and many many people own it. as my polar expl, i d like a watch that is not so common. and i dont really want to spend now thousands of euros.
so i found this davosa ternos called vintage (i know its not a vintage).
its a no date, brown color that is not so common as the black sub.
what do you think? will i regret and always think of a rolex? or because its a non-rolex color, you would consider it as a total different watch?

what about the Tudor Black Bay? Lovely watch with plenty of heritage? Somewhat of a bargain in my opinion and plenty of colour options

If you don't want a Rolex, which I can understand, I'd go for a dive watch with a completely different look. What is your budget?

Lol, the Davosa! FYI I looked it up and it has almost identical specs to the submariner except it looks like crap. So I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that this is better for a small wrist Get the submariner!

If you have a smaller wrist I'd definitely wait for the Tudor black bay 36

I too was interested in that brown model. Unfortunately I couldn't get over the similarity to a Rolex and decided against it. If you want something similar that isn't a replica looking watch, look at Christopher Ward, Seiko divers, or Janis trading company for similarly priced models with their own style.

i think that the brown color is a non-rolex color, and that makes this davosa unique. i agree that other ternos, black, or even brown but with cyclope are too similar to the sub, and i wouldnt buy them. but this "vintage" ternos is really nice

If it were me, even if I went with the brown model I'm afraid I would always be reminded of the Rolex Sub. Consider an older model Submariner or a Tudor.

Or a 16610? Too black? Get the 16610LV.

At least if you regret the purchase you can get your money back out of it unlike the brown watch
