Calling Breitling experts on this Cosmonaute

Saw this Breitling Cosmonaute in a shop today and the owner let me take some pictures of it. More than anything curious if you think it's genuine from these 2 pictures of the dial and back as I know next to nothing about Breitlings othe tHan they make great, accurate watches. Thanks for your comments.

Could you find that model with that gold sweep second hand and no B/Anchor on the end?
A

Thanks for the replies so far.

I've seen fotos of the sliderule minute markers both short and to the dial edge and wondered if that varied with model/age of watch.

Anyone know approximate production range of 81600B? And the movement used, in house or not?

The slide rule looked OK to me.
I do not think its using yet their in-house movements, but I can check!

I am concerned to the hands though.

I have a private email to Breitling who can 100% confirm, if you need to know, PM me

Thanks, Adam, very kind. The watch came in head only and a brown leather Breitling strap was added to it. I've decided I don't want to buy it as I would not wear a watch exclusively displaying 24 hour time format.

Older 81600B's didn't have the B on the end of the chrono seconds hand.
And no, it is not in-house. B01 came waaaaay later.

Hands are changed at service on all but a few models.

I would post this on BreitlingSource.com they have a replica thread and they are excellent at breitling verification.
