Seems like we had a similar thread not to long ago; for me there is only one and that was my OP 116000 which went from orange and black to all black. I sold it thinking it was a lesser Rolex and wanting a more popular one. After selling it I found I really missed it.

Sold my 1016 for a brand new 16610 back in 2001 thinking I'd never wear two Rolex sport models with black dials on Oyster bracelets. Ugh.

Corrected that mistake this March by obtaining a minty 1016 which hasn't left my wrist much since.

I have posted this a few times :-)

Yes! A Rolex submariner 16610. I bought it in 2005 when I was an expat, I always loved the watch. Funny thing, I sold it to get my DSSD, got exactly what I paid for it. I LOVE the DSSD but could not get over the loss of my 16610. I hounded the buyer for months until they agreed to sell it back! I will never get rid of it and it will be my Son's watch one day.

I had one of these for Christmas in about 1981, purely because it was one of my first watches I'd like to pick up another. I've seen a couple on the web but not managed to bring one home yet.

Every watch in my current collection except my 39mm Explorer I have previously owned. Does indeed make them that much harder to part with a second time.

Just sold my Hulk to fund DJII but regretted deeply.
Might be buying another Hulk in near future to compensate for this loss.
