Help! Which models have black bracelets?

I was thinking of picking up an older model that I have seen in the past but not sure what model it was. Is it the Sub or SD that comes with a black band? The band looks like rubber but have not been able to see a close up. I saw a pic here but cannot find it now. Is it just an optional bracelet/band that I have seen?

Rolex does not make anything like that.
Any Rolex you have seen something like that done to
is aftermarket and will void your Rolex warranty. Look back
in the past 10 pages or so and you will find a subject which
mentions the company that does this and the price was simply
absurd.

Sorry to tell you, but they don't make black, metal bands. Must have been aftermarket.

I found it guys! It was on the sale forum. I got some close ups too. Like the "Bond Sub". It has a black band. Does Rolex sell those band/bracelets? What are they called? I would like to pick up a sub and put a bracelet like that on it.

I think youre talking about the cloth NATO bands. You can get them at timefactors.

Like this? It's a Tropic and in the 70's you could get a sub from Rolex with these as a cheaper option to the oyster bracelet.

Well, I think the Stainless Steel bands are pretty functional.,,,

However, I do like the old Tropical straps, unfortunately they are no longer made.

There is a thriving e-bay business in selling knock offs of this classic, and a couple of companies sell some that are very close. Try looking into Hirsch straps and some of the other top brands...
