I've been deciding to add an AP to my collection and currently leaning towards the 15400. But being in Australia locating one is quite difficult and it'll be a lot easier for me to buy one here from a TD. Only problem is that I have a really skinny wrist 6.5. So I just wanted to see some pictures of the 15400 on skinny wrists before I make my final decision. Let's see those skinny wrists!

No vote from me. I have a 6.75" wrist and I really wanted to get one ( had a super deal when I was travelling) but it doesn't sit right, the case ends over the wrist and looks odd.
The 15202/15300 is ideal for smaller wrists

I totally agree and am in that 6.5-6.75" range as well. Have wanted to make a Royal Oak work so bad but the case just sits weird on my wrist where the lugs end and bracelet starts.

I'm contemplating the same thing as I might I have an opportunity to trade my white SS Daytona for a white/silver 15400st but have a little apprehension due to the size everyone is cautioning about.

I have a relatively flat wrist and this is what it looks like with some other large watches:

Not my VC and yes I wiped down the back. Not sure how someone can get the case that dirty after owning after a few months.

This is me trying a 15400 gold last week. I'm 6 1/3 inch wrist so even smaller than yours.

I agree with this, almost purchased last year, just a bit too big looking for my 6-1/2'' wrists.

So here's the funny thing: the sales person took the pic and the top half (which I've cropped) has me with one of the broadest grins I've ever seen me have in any photo ever taken lol. I think that sums it up 😍😍

I've never seriously considered a gold piece. This changed that.

I would be interested if anyone has access to both pieces, what the comparison is between the 15400 and the 15202 in their lug-to-lug measurements.

My wrist is 6.75 and and flat, I was debating between the 15400, 15300, and 15450.

The NYC Boutique let me try on all 3 sizes.

15450 fit fine but slightly small.
15202 fit great, 39mm is ideal for my wrist.
15400 was passable, definitely has some presence.

If your wrist is 1/4" smaller than mine, it would definitely be borderline. I highly suggest you wait until you can try it on.

41 looks great on you. Call me biased, but the Royal Oak was conceived as an oversized sportswatch, and 15400 fits that description perfectly.

I would suggest the 15300. The 15400 does wear a bit big. I have a 7.5" wrist and I think the 15400 is as big as I would go for me.

Same size wrist here but I found the 15400 to be a better fit than a 15202 because of its more flexible bracelet - it hugs the wrist conforming to its shape, with no side overhang, while the 15202's stiffer bracelet tends to splay sideways too much creating an unsightly overhang on the sides of the wrist. Comfort-wise the 15400 feels much better on my wrist too.

The first time I tried the 15400 I almost immediately dismissed it as too big but after some time tried it again and loved the look and feel of it on my wrist. It has been my most worn sports watch since I got it.

Here's my 15400 on a 6.3 inch wrist. It wears big but as others have said I personally didn't find a massive difference in wearability when compared with the 15202 due to the latters greater perceived lug flare.

IMHO the actual case diameter is not crazy big at 41mm and the case itself always looks pretty reasonable on most wrists. It's just what the integrated lugs do to the wearability and the look, especially when the entire platform of the case sometimes catches the light and then it can look pretty big.

I would suggest going with the 15300. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and it fits well.

For those with smaller wrists (including me), I think the 15202/15300 are optimally sized.

Personally, I also prefer the proportions in those models than the 15400 (my opinion only).

I think that the 15300 is probably a better bet. I just think it looks better proportioned and sits better on the wrist
