First time seller
I'm about to put my first watch for sale here on the forum, following the format and instructions as posted. I think the I've outlined the watch correctly, based on how others display and describe their pieces for sale. And I've set up a PayPal account.
When ready to close a deal, does the buyer pay first, then the seller ships? Also, how do I load multiple photos on to a single post? One is easy, but as I try to add pics, the original drops off. Help!! Thanks.

Unless the buyer has feedback on TRF, I would be very careful accepting Paypal, especially if this will be your first Paypal transaction...

I've done deals a few different ways depending on who I'm dealing with and what their feedback is.
I sold a datejust to one of the trusted sellers and had no problem sending the watch before payment. And, I've bought a watch using PayPal with fees to protect myself in case something happened. Everything went fine. Each deal is situational IMO.

I've bought and sold on here all types of ways, what are the real advantages of PayPal gift for the seller? Just trying to educate myself more on the methods. Obviously wire is the best way to go if the buyer is willing.

The advantage to seller is no PayPal fees through gift option.
I'm not sure how a dispute would work if buyer used gift option. Anyone have any experience involving a gift dispute? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

i am under the impresion that with the gift option you putting yourself in a bad position and if i remember correctly you are not covered in a case of dispute for funds transfered through the gift option.
i could be wrong but suggest looking very well into the pros and cons of the gift option before selling like that. |

For the photo part of your queries, I'd suggest a photobucket account and then all you do is insert image links to the uploaded pictures.
