Tudor 79160 bezel question
Hello all is the 79160 bezel Bakelite or more modern plastic. The bezel insert on this piece is delaminating at spots and bezel is chewed up. Its more pronounced in person. Just curious if I have a movement only service at RSC and they offer an insert if I'd be getting a downgraded plastic insert vs Bakelite. Thank you experts. |

I very much doubt it's Bakelite. Might be an aluminum insert.

yes i believe Dan is correct. i would have no problems with RSC installing a new insert when having the watch serviced. it won't hurt the value at all.
