Hello from Louisiana!!
I've always been a Rolex lover for years. I've own a Air King and a GMT 1675 both were used but you have to start some where's. In February 2015 I retired. I was in law enforcement for 34 years. Well low and behold my lovely wife bought me a brand new 114060. I always wanted one for me it's the epic Rolex and the most recognizable watch at least in my eyes.i always loved the submariner, I had the watch as my wallpaper on my iPad. She new my obsession for this watch. Life even got better I bought my retirement present a 2015 Ford Mustang ingot silver performance package 2.3 turbo.
I started a part time job almost a year ago not stressful and on August 12th I suffered a heart attack 59 years old. Doing good just resting now.
Having nothing to do yesterday I went to my AD Anton's in Baton Rouge( some of the nicest people you will ever meet) and they cleaned my watch and loaded me up with Rolex magazines, catalogs. It will give me something to read for the next week. I'm a lover of Tudor watches too and they carry those too. I can see there will be another watch in the future.

You are so right. I left all the stress behind me now. Unfortunately I picked up a bad habit in my career, SMOKING! I have been smoke free so far for 10 days. I'm keeping my head up and looking forward. I feel great it was a eye opener for me to change my habits.

Thank you Dennis. I love the Bay Area. I lived in Fairfield from 75-79 many moons ago. I was stationed at Travis AFB. Napa Valley loved it. We would go to San Francisco regularly. Saw many great concerts.i use to listen to a radio station I believe KSAN. I'm a classic rock fan. Saw some concerts at the Old Waldorf. Food was great too.
