Tend to agree. However, I like the touch of luminova on the WG version.

I did not vote because I can't really decide between the two. I would say RG but it depends also on what else you have in your collection.

I currently have
Rolex 116515LN chocolate
Rolex submariner 116610
Rolex 15200
Patek Calatrava 5227G
Patek Nautilus 5711/1A
and a few Casio G-Shocks.

Really cannot decide between the two. The white gold is understated and versatile; rose gold is elegant and classy. My wife likes RG. Rose gold seems more sensible given my current collection but white grows more on me.

Funnily enough I just picked up the WG version today. Debated the RG which was beautiful but decided on the versatility of WG. The lume hands did concern me a bit and I'm still getting used to it. I previous had a Grand Lange 1 and I much prefer the dimensions of the standard Lange 1. Also, I didn't love the dial color of the platinum version. A touch grey and lacks the white effervescence of the WG and RG dials.

Changed the strap to a maroon brown. Livens it up.

There really is no wrong choice. The white is cooler, urbane, and a touch sportier. The red is more elegant and provides a nice contrast between the case and dial. Both are winners.

I've had the RG version for several years now and just love this watch.

RG is the Classic but I prefer the versatility of WG

Jay, yours looks great on that strap

Thanks Tom! Gotta get used to the lumed hands. They're subtle and add a touch of interest to the clean dial. I also like the newer bezel on the 2015 and onwards model. Slightly smaller and a little bit more space to the dial.

Vote for RG. Very classy looking. The WG with the lume gives off a slightly sporty vibe which doesn't quite seem to resonate with the overall aesthetics of the watch. Just my opinion. But it still looks damn good though.

I'd go for RG since most of your pieces are white metals.

It is the 38.5mm Lange 1. I have a thin wrist.

I love my grand Lange Moonphase RG.....I just love Lange in general, wish the brand would hold value better.

Really want to add another Lange
