Early 70's, 72-73, although they still used the "&" occationally for some years until they run out of the old dials.

"The Art of Vacheron Constantin", and according to its chronology they changed the name to Vacheron Constantin S.A in 1974, but they dropped the "&" from the company logo in 1970.

Its a good looking watch, it is redialed and I'm not sure the unsigned crown is original. With the serial numbers on the movement and caseback you can get more information from Vacheron directly. I woundn't be worried that Lauritz are selling fakes but their estimates are way high IMO.

If you are buying for a lady, make sure and let her see it first. Many ladies do not like used watches, unlike men.
