Hello,

I recently purchased a Datograph Up/Down from a friend. I am sure there are a lot of guys with experience here that could chime in regarding the following subject:

1) The paper works is not under my name, is this a problem?

2) What are the approx. service time for this particular Datograph (just regular service).

I am looking forward to your replies.

1) No, especially if you contact AL&S now and advise them of the change of ownership.

2) Approximately 2 months, iirc – you could just ask when doing the above.

Doesn't matter who's name is on papers. It took 8 months for me to get mine back recently.

Depends on where you live, some areas the SC is rather effective and quick, in others it's the contrary...

Unless you are in the USA all datographs go to the same service centre in Germany AFAIK

It took 6 months for the German site to repair my Saxonia Auto, which had a rotor problem. Would imagine the Dato Up/Down wont be any shorter. Luckily mine wont be due for service for a few years.
