Question regarding locking crown on Rolex 1655 "McQueen"

For those of you with this reference, how many turns are needed to unscrew your crown from a fully locked position?

I noticed mine requires only 1/2-3/4 of a turn before it disengages from the threads. Is this typical for this reference?

1 full turn on my 16550, as is the same on most of my watches, it feels like more as it goes through your fingers but checking the position closer it is only 1 full turn.

My daughter has a 14270 which sounds a little like yours, half a turn so will be interested to hear from the mechanically minding experts on this.

I am curious if Rolex varied the degree of threading between different lines and over the years with the same line of watches...

1 and 3/4 full turns on my 16760.
1 and 1/8 full turns on my 114270

Half turn sounds low to me. Crown and/or tube is worn, probably the crown since it is brass wrapped in stainless. But both do wear.

I'd expect at least a full turn since it's a single lead thread. Twin lead threads work as well with a half turn but I know of no watchmaker on earth using them.
