Icon2 New Member Acquired Rolex 6238

Hello I'm a brand new member.

Excuse me if my post request is in the wrong area.

Recently I acquired a Rolex 6238. I have a question regarding the hands, it appears that the minute and hour hands where painted or enameled over, if that's the case I would like to get a correct set of hands, where would be the best place to get a set, I also would like to get the correct stainless band for the watch.

Your expert Response, Opinions or Comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for looking
Michael

Looks like a beauty, but yes, you do need to get new hands. I think if you want to pick up the hands you might have to scout the internet like e-bay.
The bracelet is I think 19mm and you will also need to look around the internet for that and you will need to find out the correct bracelet number and endlinks to match your watch.
There are guys who can supply more helpful information and I expect they will be along soon.
Welcome

Icon20 Thanks for the welcome

Thanks for the welcoming message, I've been scouting the internet the weekend looking, for a band, and hands.

The black hands make it very easy to tell the time, I suppose that's why the previous owner had them replaced or painted.

Thanks for your response.
I'm working my way to 15 posts !
