What's it worth? Rolex GMT Master Watch 16750 transitional

A 1980's Rolex GMT Master Watch 16750 transitional is running on ebay and I am wondering how high I should bid. The org. hands appear to have been replaced but everything else is original according to the current owner. Any advise? Thanks!

I hope I don't sound patronizing, because I am genuinely trying to help you.

Unless you are very confident in your knowledge of Rolex watches, especailly vintage, you should not be looking to buy on ebay. There is a good chance you will get ripped off.

The watch appears genuine. The dial markers and hands are still fairly white - not all dial markers turn yellow. Check out his feedback and selling history.

Selling prices can range from $4000 to $5000, depending on how many Italians are bidding at the end of the auction. Good luck.
