Any idea how that works.

Terry that's a good result. Maybe you should send an invoice to that jeweller for the time you spent on getting it fixed.

I think Terry is making TRF history on a number of levels. I mean, who gets a new case and a new serial number? That's pretty unusual!

Terry, I'm glad things worked out for you. However I'm still concerned as to why you as a customer would have to go to the president of a huge corp. to get your problem resolved? Something's not right at Rolex USA and he should have had that addressed as well, before more customers start to bad-mouth or bail all together on the brand.

well in the early 90s i had a issue like Terry's and the Rolex Brass in NY gave me a entire new watch...... Not to dappen the parade but they wanted to replace the case only but i continued my quest and said since i gave you a pristine 2 year old watch whole i want it back whole not just parts. But in this case it seems the Terry is happy with the outcome and thats what really matters.

The watch was only 7 months old when the AD damaged it. To me the watch is still brand new except the case now. Once the case is replaced the watch will go back to looking brand new. I take amazingly good care of the things I claim holdings upon until I pass them on to the next generation. The other watches I have also look like brand new. Even my Tag Heuer which is 7 years old looks like new except for some bracelet stretch. The case replacement is very acceptable to me.
