Should I go back tomorrow?

Today I went to a few stores and found these deals:

1983 Submariner w/date, box and papers, $3995.
2006 Submariner w/date, no box or papers, $4000.
Undated Day-Date OysterQuartz, 18K, no box or papers, $6,000.
Various date and datejust models, steel and two tone, nothing over $2900.

He had bluesy and GMTs for the going rates, but I thought these were good. This is a used dealer in Tampa who will be happy to "work with me."

It's great when you have choices. Good luck on your decision.

Robert, I think the DD OQ is overpriced. I nearly picked one up about 5 years ago for about $4,500. I didn't go the extra couple hundred at the time. Now I'm kicking myself silly about that.

OTOH, I just checked fleabay and I see the YG DD OQ is going from $6K - 9K, depending on the seller. So maybe that's not such a bad price these days.

Well I would like a vintage sub and the 83 has a 23 year head start on the 06!

If you can get time to get it authenticated, get the vintage for collection and 2006 as a daily beater.

I came very close to it actually, but having our Steve M here jump up and down over the 1983 Sub made me think twice. Now I am glad I did!
