Movement on M Serial Pepsi GMT Ref. 16710

Can someone please tell me how I would know if my M serial Pepsi GMT has the new movement in it? I've heard something about a "Wiggle" test but do not know what that is.

Thanks

Just pull out the crown to the Mercedes hand "jump" detent. As you move the Mercedes hour hand back and forth, the 24 hr hand will not move on the 3186 as the jump detent wheel has been moved away (decoupled) from the hand-stack.

That, and the hairspring, is the only difference.... The 3186 is functionally identical to the 3185.
