APRP's finest work?

Love this close up taken on my iPhone with a loupe over the lens!

Maybe it's still unfinished, but your GF tourbillon looks far better finished, sorry to say.

Clearly it's not finished, the finishing should be perfect once properly done

If it was APmaybe, but here it's APRP which make the most complicated and best finished movements for both AP and RM, so I think the end result should be very close to the GF

GF still better. Take a loupe and look at RM tourbillon and compare it GF, GF is better finished.

RM tourbillon bridge is too often just sandblasted, machine beveled, no black polish, and countersink not polished either.

Well to be honest haven't seen either up close, but of course RM has a totally different style of finishing than other high end brands, but it's not really a surprise if GF are in the price range that they are, people who buy them usually know very well watches so I can imagine the finishing is top notch

Oh I'm sure GF is probably finished nicer than RM.

What comes out of APRP is pretty amazing though. I've been there and it's jaw dropping nonetheless.

Let's defer to the only person here who has owned both...Roger....

GF finishing really is much better than RM, but as Dufour said, finishing is only part of the make up of a watch, it doesn't make the whole watch. As nice as GF is, I don't like most of the design.

Your Voutilainen will have very nice finishing

GF finishing is clearly top of the tree. I didn't feel it was appropriate to wear it to APRP but we spent a lot of time talking about GF so they know where my expectations are. And guess where Mr G and Mr F used to work?

I can believe that yes GF is top of the line in that regard. About Voutilainen thanks, I expect very good finishing as well, maybe not the best there is but very close.
