Daytona 116500 and there is no competitor.

Althought Blue dial Sky-Dweller has way longer early adopter waiting lists than Daytona 116500 used to have when it hit the stores. But i think it is mostly because of Daytona. People learned quickly and dont want to miss this time like most did with 116500 and are now waiting years to get that. My prediction is that Blue Sky-Dweller will have longer waiting lists than Daytona 116500 in 2018. When looking at these photos, it is easy to understand, it is simply designed to attract males to buy it https://www.watchcollectinglifestyle...ands-on-review

Rolex will create hype model to every series, one by one, and gives options for demand to spread like they did with Sky-Dweller. There are white, black and halfgold models as well in same price range. I really do wonder how they hype Pearlmaster :)

What i dont understand is the talk of SD43 being hard to get. I dont have any superrelationships with any AD and i would have 3 Rolex AD's to buy it with 2-4 weeks delivery time if i would like.

BLNR is easy to get with 4-6 weeks waiting time.

Submariner 116610LN. Most of them wants a black sub as their first Rolex.
Daytona 116500 is just limited in supply, giving buyers the impression it is unattainable and sought after.
