Totally agree with you there BUT the classic 16613 TT Blue Sub (Bluesy) with blue lume would look awesome too.....

If you want lume, buy a Seiko. My Marinemaster can light up a room

I'd think the Balls with the tritium tubes would be the way to go if long lasting light was important. All the modern watches I have can charge brilliantly but dim fairly quickly as well. Oh they last through the night but really aren't much to write home about.

The best lume on any Rolex is on the 42mm Explorer 2. None of the other Rolex even come close by way of comparison, and never will because the Explorer 2 has the Super Maxi dial and is the only Rolex available with that dial/hand combo.
Otherwise, it has to be Ball. Their tritium tubes glow like a torch all night long 24/7, 365. It remarkable. |

I'm guessing they are long exposure shots. Especially on the DateJust shot with Arabic numerals.

Which model has the best lume?
Explorer II is pretty good for lume. But Omega is head and shoulders above most Rolexes in that department. My Speedmaster co-axial has insanely bright and lasting lume.

Nothing beats the lume of my Breitling Aerospace.
You can read this thing clear as day from across a hallway. 👍 Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk |
