Which one do you prefer? (again)

Hey everyone,

I want to thank everyone that participated on my previous post with helping me decide on making a choice for a DD 40. I've eliminated the WG variation and now i'm deciding between the Yellow gold with champ dial OR the Rose gold with green dial.

SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU GUYS

1) This will be my one and only DD. Do you guys think it would it be wiser to go with the quintessential Yellow gold? Or do you think it's a better choice to go with the unique rose gold and green dial model?

2) Currently i'm in my thirties, do you think the rose gold variation would look too youthful as I mature in age?

Thank you guys for your help.

*photo bucket seems not to work for me for some reason, sorry guys. Here's a direct link

** I'm kind of leaning a little more towards the YG model as i feel it matches and fits more with my wardrobe.

I can't see your pictures but I know both watches well. For me the RG with green dial is just stunning.

Sorry but I can't see the pictures. Nevertheless, I don't think any Rolex watch could look too youthful.what makes rolex special is how versatile they are with age, life-style and choice of clothing.

I'd pick the rose gold with the olive green dial. The warmth of the rose gold coupled with the fresh and soothing olive green dial works really well together.

I think go for the yellow gold silver motif dial if you want the dial on the lighter side. The champagne dial is too monotone for me. Love the green dial but the rose gold metal is not for me personally.

YG for me. I'm more of a traditionalist and YG DD is quintessentially Rolex. I would, however, prefer stick hour markers over either Roman or Arabic.

I like the rose gold and olive green. Gets my vote.

YG for me it looks stunning. Never was a big fan of the rose gold IMO just doesn't look real.

Green dial is the winner IMO...rg or wg.

Love the yellow gold over rose, but the champagne dial as been said is too much yellow. It needs contrast, I really like a white dial with romans or sticks either way.

1) I don't know about wiser...but the champagne will probably give you a more "traditional" look. If that's what you're going for, then it's a great choice. I was lucky enough to get to try one on the other day at the AD, and...wow. What a fantastic reference.

2) I wouldn't worry about the age factor...get what you like and makes your heart flutter every time you look at it. I personally prefer (and own) the olive dial in WG, but it's your watch, so get what makes YOU happy.
