Icon3 Bergeon 7825 + NATO + LVc

Inspired by a local butcher wearing this exact combo while he was working (yes, a butcher), I bought a Bergeon 7825 tool (yes, it is THAT good!) and my first NATO strap (I had thought the LVc belonged only on the bracelet, and now I'm happy with this change).

Here are a few pics:

I also bought a solid navy colored NATO, which I'll try another day.

That looks fantastic. The green flows really well from the bezel to the strap.

Please show and tell a little more about the Bergeon 7825 tool.

The spring bar tool is a tweezer meant to approximate Rolex's own 3200 tweezers. The forks are the correct size for Rolex bracelets.

Yes, it's a bit more pricey than other options, but the tool is so easy to use compared to anything else I've tried (full disclaimer: I'm not much of a "tool guy", so the easier the better for me).

Some pics:

Not much compared to that Deep Blue you have!

I'm not much of a strap changer, but these threads sure make me want to pick up a few nato's...

Yes, I had to do a double-take, as I was both surprised to see it, and really surprised to see how much I liked it.

Nice,

Good choice with the Bergeon, always buy the right tools to avoid unnecessary scratches or dings

all, thanks.

And, as promised, here are a couple with the solid blue NATO mounted.

I think the solid blue NATO complements well the green and grey of the watch head, and the blue/green NATO is a bit more "fun".

The 6825 or the 7825 tools is a MUST for any watch person. It makes it so easy and you will never scratch the lugs.

Worth the money and like they say it makes the job 1000x easier with the correct tools

I really like that green strap. It's amazing how much a strap changes the personality of the watch.

Which would be the one to go for...what advantage would the the 7825 have over the 6825?

After seeing the pics here I would like to pick one up.

I am generally not a fan of that green, but it really does look fantastic on that first strap

I almost bought the other Bergeon springbar "tweezer" tool (I think it was ref 6825) but it would not work on my Deepsea bracelet. Good to know the 7825 works on the Sub C bracelets... but I wouldn't make a blanket statement to say that this works for all Rolex bracelets just yet. I would definitely get one if it did, though!

From what I understand, the 7825 fits better, but both are fine, so to speak. Pick up whichever one is significantly cheaper. If only a few dollars difference, grab the 7825.

Wow the NATO really works well. I was just thinking the other day whether NATO works well on the 6 digit references. And also been putting off any move due to my fear of scratching the lugs. But this puts both of my concerns at rest.

I too would like to know where you got the tool and NATO. Thanks!
