Wow, absolutely kickin' advice, all. I really appreciate it. I'm putting together a list of your suggestions and will do some AD window shopping.

Try a Panerai Radiomir. They have a model that meets all your specs. This one is close.

Daytona is also a winner.

Doxa is re-releasing the Sub 300. its well within your budget, can take whatever you want to throw at it, and has an exceptional history. May seem out of left field- but id say its worth looking into

Since this stray of this post, the new SD43 came out. Sounds like it is exactly what you need

I will go against your instructions and say you have to try the 126600 SD. It is different to the GMT in so many regards. Alternatively LV.

I have small wrists too...I really like the PAM 512. Discontinued, but you're in it for half your ask. I know you mentioned automatic, but should consider manual wind if you're working it though a rotation.

My first thought is don't ask a bunch of strangers. My second is the explorer. Funny how it works.

Surprised no one mentioned 16600. It's the bargain Rolex atm especially for small wristers.

It's an awesome piece IMHO.
