No Lee,,,,Watchfinder are placing it directly into the lap RSC where it came directly to Watchfinder originally,,,,,
Service manager apoligised for the watch being sent out,,,
Worse scenario i get a same spec replacement but i hope it dont go that far as i got fond memorys with this dj2 and would like her back,,,,,

just heard back from Watchfinder,,,
Rolex said wrongs hands fitted,,warranty voided so i get a full refund or use it against a new watch at watchfinder,,,,,
So a new incoming shortly,,,,,jay

Yes watchfinder are a good company, I’m pleased they offered the money back when it couldn’t be resolved satisfactorily - I’m sure many companies would not have done that without some coercion!

Have asked watchfinder to find me the exact same spec dj2,,
bnib in woud be good and i would consider a dj41 in the same spec or with a jubilee,,,,
Hope i dont have to wait too long,,,,,jay

Just a quick update,,,
Heard from Richard Brockman over at Watchfinder HQ,,,,,,
A very nice chap who i always deal with,,,
He informed me that i should have my new dj2 by the end of the week and a slightly newer watch then my last,,,,
I was also offered a nice deal on a LVc but i declined as i just want my "old"/new watch back,,,,,,jay

I had no fear that Watchfinder would sort it and intially Richard was away when this problem cropped up but once back and informed he contacted me with the outcome,,

Incoming early this week,,,,
After being fully refunded by Watchfinder i decided to get an exact same watch,,,
I had the chance of another model for not much more money and decided against a sub lv and nipped out and had a look at a same spec 41 but on a jubilee,,,,already have a 36 and although a lovely piece the clasp just dont seem right on the jubilee 41 but just my opinion,,,,,,,
So i have a full set, younger dj2 with balance of mf warranty coming and i post pics when she is home,,,,,,

My new watch arrived this morning,,,
a lovely and much newer dj2 then my last,,,,
just under a year old and mf warranty for a good while,,,,
Richard at Watchfinder looked after me very well,,,
have the newer much smaller booklets,, og warranty card etc,,off to have her sized and i have so many extra links that i am not that far off a full bracelet,,,,,
