What Omega is this?

Morning folks!

I was walking past a pawn shop in London yesterday and spotted this Omega in the shop window. The pawnshop owner wouldn't let me handle the watch and was sat behind a 4 inch thick glass window (guess he may have been bitten by previous experience). He did however hold up and show me the watch so I could take photos of it.

Anyone know what kind of Omega this is? And if its genuine? I do like the look of it.

Nice. It has the look of an original, unmolested specimen. Hard to know more without opening the back of the watch to see the reference number and the caliber. If that's not possible, and if you like it enough, then it may be worth the gamble of buying it anyhow. It could house a really great movement, such as the 30T2.

Looks like is from late 40's.
These models typically did not have a name.
May find reference number on inside of the case back.

The only way to know if its genuine is to have it opened to inspect the movement. And while that’s underway you’ll be able to verify the movement model and other indicators. Take some close-up pics and share them so folks can give a more informed opinion.

Pretty sure it is genuine, but if he thinks it is too valuable for you to handle, then he thinks it's worth a lot more than I think it worth.
Looks like a midsize watch, not very expensive.
