Again, it's the seller, not the watches . . .
This seller spent the weekend offering genuine Rolexes (President, GMT, Sub), that he doesn't own. His opening bids originally were $2,000, but now he's down to $400.
Rolex Submariner 5513 Stainless Steel Black Dial Automatic 40mm Mens Watch Rolex GMT Master 16700 Stainless Steel Pepsi Bezel Automatic 40mm Mens Watch This is not about whether or not the stolen photos are watermarked. It is not about ephemera that does not match the watch. It is about a guy who has zero feed-back as a seller, stealing photos and descriptions of genuine articles, while guaranteeing authenticity. Just as an FYI, a guarantee of authenticity and return privileges from a scammer who is trying to sell blue sky to the unwary is totally worthless. I got four of these atrocities removed over the weekend, and now I am in contact with eBay in an attempt to suspend the user ID. No doubt he'll regroup and return under a new user ID. A watch auction can stink even if the watch is genuine if the seller doesn't actually own what he's offering. |
