Not for me. I don't think brown goes with steel at all.

I too am not generally a fan of brown steel watches, but the photos in the article really show off the beauty of this piece

pretty sure this will look better in person. All the brown AP's tend to. I still don't imagine myself with a brown watch though, but the safari looks really nice IRL as does the RG ROC with the brown dial.
