One leads to another?

The last several years I’ve been on a steady diet of about 1 new watch per year. But every time I get a new watch, it immediately fuels an intense desire for another.

I just got a DD40 in platinum, and I absolutely adore it. You’d think I wouldn’t need or want another (at least for a while). But the reality is that I’m obsessed with the 116519LN.

Am I crazy? Does anyone else experience this?

I just got my first a few weeks ago. Last night I was asking my wife about yellow gold and how she liked the two tone Daytona. I dont know if she liked it or not but the look of death hit her face. But Im gonna stop after that, and a BLNR. Unless I decide I want an Omega instead..... I looked at the guys that sold me this one and said something about welcome to my new addiction right? all they could do was nod an acknowledgment. And Im really not a materialistic person, but these things are simply cool.

It's a slippery slope, for sure. I'm focusing on trying to enjoy my watches as much as possible right now. And trying like hell to ignore all the ones I want.

Ya, we try to fool ourselves by saying "This is it. If I just get this one, then I'm done". Never works...

It's a common malady among those of us on this board.
