Daughters watch collection...

Well, proof that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree
My daughter has the bug also, she has over 30 in her collection. Most are swatches, but she does have two good ones ( not in the picture).
We had watches everywhere, so I made this "hanger" out of a piece of shelving & 30 cup hooks.
The cool thing is the sound this makes She has it mounted in a corner with a chest of drawers beside it. As they all tick away, it is very rhythmic

The "red tangled one" on the bottom has a "bracelet" made from a "telephone type cord", she can wrap it around, change it with different colours etc. ( can you say Panerai in training?

Congrats to your daughter. It's our WIS-of-the-month shot!

Alan comes in second with 8 pages of 50-some-odd watches!!!

The funny thing about her collections, is that quite a few of the kids in her class ask her everymorning to show them which watch she has on
I think maybe the boys just use that as an excuse to talk to her , I know I would have

Ah, another WIS in training. Well done, John. You should introduce her to Peter (Manatee). He has quite a collection of Swatches. If you ask nicely, maybe he'll post pics of some of them.

Hmm - it's only a matter of time before the Human Genome Project identifies the WIS gene!

You're a lucky man, John - if I have kids I'll want them to share my fascination for watches. With my luck, though, they'll take after Sash and roll their eyes.

If they take after Sash that only means one thing James; more watches for you

Hmm, good point, Paul. You're a glass-is-half-full kinda guy - I like that!
