Yeah that's how ebay is now I guess. Couple years back every item I sold got positive feedback.. I just went through a spring cleaning and sold off maybe 30 items, I believe I only got feedback for around 6-7. The only people that leave feedback are other ebay sellers it seems.

I buy stuff on ebay now and then, but of course, I do not have an ebay account. There is no need for that since I never buy stuff that is auctioned, only buy it now. I do not have a paypal account either, I pay through them as a guest too. This is how everyone I know do it.
Upside: If something goes wrong, I just reverse the charges on my credit card. Downside: It is not possible to leave feedback. So if they were buy it now auctions then maybe they couldn't leave feedback. |

Several reasons come to mind:
1. Did you leave a positive feedback to buyer, FIRST? I normally don’t leave a positive comment unless the seller does first. Likewise, in majority of cases, the seller won’t leave one until buyer gives them a feed (positive) first. Whoever leaves a positive feedback first loses a little bit of leverage. 2. Buyer thinking: this seller already has 1000 positive feedbacks. Adding another one is superfluous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've noticed that too, it's annoying AF. Especially when you're trying to build the feedback (amount you've received). I never sell on there now and after starting an Amazon Prime 30 day trial today (got a crapload of mountain bike accessories) I'll never look back. Most items I sell are via free local classifieds (Kijiji here, owned by eBay).

A couple have recommended that and it's a good suggestion, think I'll give it a shot. I guess it can't hurt!

Buyers have become numb to the feedback loop on eBay. With so many businesses running products as a direct sales channel, the old one-to-one feedback for individuals has been lost in the marketplace.

If it helps Paul, I always leave feedback.
And “Anna” was only sparsely used just as promised!
