RubberB, Everest question????
Hello to all, please give advice; I'm looking to buy a red rubber strap for my SubC. Looking at the two by pics only I think the Rubber B red color is a nicer real red color but the Everest has more adjustment holes for their tang buckle strap but their red seems to have more of an orange effect. Any advice at all on the two, like I said I'm looking at pics only and keep going back and forth. Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

Rubber b is much more of a premium strap.

For comfort, I prefer everest. If color is more important and you see rubber b as presenting the color you want, get it. Wish I could say, but I have not owned red of either brand. Good luck and post pics when done.

I prefer rubber B as for comfort and how it sits on the wrist, disregards color and more adjustment. Everest band is softer but the way it sits on the lug is more outwards which makes the watch look round on my 6.5 inch wrist.

I prefer Everest, its easier to swap out. Rubber b also rubs me the wrong with their dbag marketing.

I bought 2 rubber b’s (blnr/dblue)
After the GTG dealing with Everest straps, I’d rather have those in a heartbeat. |

Loving my Rubber B on my bbb eta
But if you have large wrists then you may have a problem I like a tight fit and with a 7 in wrist it only leaves two pin holes so anyone with 8in wrist and above may find it too small Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

How big is your wrist? Rubber B strap shaping fits smaller wrists better than Everest as the Rubber B curves down more. Everest can leave gaps. If you're concerend about tang bucke fit, why not get the version that uses your clasp and ensure a perfect fit? Everest is slight softer rubber. But siftness is not a sign of quality I've used Rubber B straps before and would again. Qualiity and longevity cannot be beaten by anything in he market just now.

definitely not ever est
To me, more number of holes looks cheap. Also means there's less rubber between each hole, so it could tear easier. If I were you, I'd give the luxury Swiss product (RubberB) a try first and then if you do not like the fit, you could return it to go with one of the other (less nice) options out there like everestband. Also notice when spending your big $, that only one of the rubber strap companies has swiss made in their rubber strap. You might not care but I do not like to be rip off

i am also torn between RubberB and Everest although slightly leaning towards RubberB for my BLNR. do either of these companies provide the tools to change the straps with their products? I thought i read/heard somewhere that Everest includes a tool.

I really don't understand you blokes who do not research. Those everest things are horrendously overpriced. They look and fit like sh*t. They come along years after Rubber B and they are not even marked on them where they are made ??? I personally like the oyster bracelet, but I wouldn't put any rubber on my Rolex but a Rubber B because they are way above the bar. BTW Burgeon makes a great tool for $20. Why would anyone company need to produce one? The price would be high or the tool would be sh*t.

I have never owned an Everest strap so I can’t make the comparison. But I do own two RubberB’s and I can vouch for the fit, finish, and overall quality of the product. Plus I think, aesthetically speaking, the RubberB has a more tapered, less beefy look to it.
