Z-serial 16570 Polar with Chromalight??
I have this 16570 Polar with what appears to be Chromalight Lume. It is a bit perplexing considering that it doesn’t have a maxi-dial. Thoughts??

No point really.......other than just posting a watch picture of a watch that I love....and having a little playful fun with it. What else is the point of the forum other than posting a few pics and sharing in the enthusiasm of other’s love for the brand.

I have a z-serial 116718 and it has the Chromalight lume. It perplexed me initially, but what I’ve heard is that Rolex assigns the serial number to a watch at the time the case is made. Sometimes the case can sit in inventory longer than expected erroneously before being assembled into a watch. This happens more commonly with PM than SS, but I’ve heard it can happen with ss. Either way it’s pretty uncommon, but shows that serials don’t always align to manufacturing date.
My bracelet halmarks date its manufacturing to after 2011. Watch has never been serviced. I did buy from a trusted grey, but many original stickers were still on, including the case back sticker.
