Bought a TOG in 2003, sold it to a friend around 2008. Took me three years and a Daytona to convince him to sell it back to me.

Yes. I only flipped my D-serial DateJust TOG because I was forced to. Needed to help fund a Hulk Sub. While I dislike Jubilee bracelets , I love(d) this watch.

After that I remembered how this watch made me feel: summer glory, breezy and happy, I love that the TT YM2 has such a different play of colours, its bold, its substantial, its me and I miss it!

So here I am again, with the same watch, might not be the watch for everyone, but I sure as hell love it!

Welcome back to the stables old friend!

Yup. My SD4k. I missed immediately. I was lucky enough to contact the buyer and bought my own watch back about 2 weeks after selling it.

I have owned and traded or flipped for the same watch several times. Sometimes it take the flip or sell to help you understand how much you like a watch. I am sure I will do it again.

So far this hasn’t happened to me, but I have to admit that I’m THIS close

Congratulations Ed, looks great on you and I can see why it is a hard one to stay away from

4 Times! Now that is some good back and fourth action.

I’ve never bought the same watch twice but have sold and bought the same family. Ln vs LV. Miss the LV and may scoop one up here at some point.

Have never sold a Rolex, but have sold 3 Omega ( Speed 3573, Planet Ocean orange bezel, seamaster chrono), 2 Breitling (old navi, Chronomat) and 2 Longines (legend diver no date, master collection bicompax). I feel guilty and I've in mind to buy again a Speed and a Navi...... Don't try to understand

Funnily enough, I sold my 116503 and bought the exact watch back from another seller approximately one month later.

Have you ever flipped a Rolex, miss it, and bought it back?

Yes, a Hulk. I bought it first from DavidSW, sold it back to him.

Then got it a second time at AD, and it’s a keeper.

Also my Aquanaut. Thank god it’s back. I bought it the first time for 17k new! Sold it. Then got it again with bracelet a year later.

My Reverso I sold back to DavidSW and bought it back from him a week later (he allowed me to cancel the deal and call it a day).

The speedy and my ap chrono (blue) are the only I haven’t sold.

Did the opposite !

Sold my IWC Portugieser Chronograph (IW371446) and a Bell & Ross WW1-92 Military, to get the Lvc along with my BLNR and although I miss the IWC a LOT, I have no regrets !!!

Maybe I'll buy a Portugieser Chrono again !
Also waiting for the new GMT Pepsi.......

Have never flipped a Rolex to make money

But in 1990 I had a 13% mortgage and had to sell an old sub date.
Approx 7 years ago purchased the same model back
