How to remove watch Anti Reflective coating - help / suggestions?
Well, the time has come and the AR coating is wearing off.
Thus far I have tried alcohol, cape cod cloth, ammonia window cleaner, and my local jeweler has also tried a buffing wheel with polish but the stubborn AR is still blotchy, there, and simply refuses to completely come off! ARGH…..What other options are there? Polywatch? Anything else worth trying? Anything worth suggesting to my jeweler? Surely there is something that will get the remaining stuff off without damaging the bezel or crystal!!! Thanks :) |

I used sandflex blocks, the medium grit took off AR coating pretty handily, no trouble, no regrets. Hardest part was masking off the bezel.
