I don't notice the rehaute while wearing it.

This thread makes me realize they are actually different kind of rehaut engraving. Some seem bold, some not, some engraved on the edges of characters only...
An opportunity to create low production fonts'rehaut for future collectible value?

interesting.

Engraved rehaut is another piece for Rolex to misalign, as pictured above.

I like it, especially on a smaller watch like my dj31 where it's just barely visible but adds a nice touch rather than just being flat.

I totally get the concept around it as an anti counterfeit measure.

But i'm not a fan despite the subtlety of execution and I think the immediate area in and around the dial is already cluttered enough as it is.
And I swore off new Rolex watches for about 8 years after its introduction.

I actually don't like it that much it influenced my decision to only get the DSSD as my only 6 digit model.
On the DSSD, it's virtually impossible to see it day to day because the Crystal is so thick and that inner face of the Ringlock is so plumb it's barely perceptable

True enough.
My wife's 31mm DJ has a white MOP dial with diamonds and it's virtually impossible to see the inner face of the rehaut, let alone the text and coronets.

Don’t hate it but don’t like it either.I dislike the maxi case much more than something tiny like this.

Never thought too much about the rehaut before but now that I've had a couple pieces with the engraving, when I wear a watch without it I briefly feel like something is missing and it almost looks too plain. I kinda like it, just another little detail that Rolex adds to the watch.

I'm also not the biggest fan. It almost kept me from buying a modern Rolex. Almost.

I like it, but I never understood how this prevents counterfeiting? Can't be that difficult to mimic the engraving.

I never even think about it.

I do wish that more of them were centered, or that Rolex QC cared enough to make sure they lined up. Seems like the majority are off center.

Not really an issue.

I noticed that as well while viewing this thread. Mine definitely looks different from some shown here.

I think the rehaut is a smart idea. It's hardly noticeable but it does serve a purpose.

I personally prefer it to not be there.

I like it. It's one of those subtle Rolex details that most people wouldn't notice.

I was very interested in this until owning one of each and now I don’t feel I notice it much at all.
