Yeah, it is. But I would rather wear a casio instead for these type of activities

i wore it to the court.
I didnt play with it...:)
For hoops, i take it off...it can scratch someone's face....

Good idea. I have snapped the spring pin/bracelet off before while working out/playing sport. Rubber straps is the key.
