SS GMT BLRO - Pepsi: Jubilee and Oyster

Quick question on the new Jubilee bracelet vs. the Oyster PCL

I have never owned a Rolex with Jubilee bracelet, therefore, I am pleased that I will get to own one when it ships with the new SS GMT BLRO Pepsi. That said, I have heard it is lighter and more comfortable than the standard Oyster PCL bracelet on the typical SS sport models. When I tried the Pepsi with Jubilee on the wrist last week (Basel 2018 preview event), it felt great!

My question: Is the size of each jubilee link half as long (or shorter) vs. an Oyster link? If normally remove 2 oyster links, will this mean I will need to remove 4 jubilee links? Does that mean I have more "adjustability" compared to Oyster because each jubilee link is 1/2 the size or smaller?

Thanks for your feedback

I don't know the exact increments but yes, you'll have more adjustability I believe. I also haven't owned anything on Jubilee but looking forward to it.

Not sure it's exactly half. IIRC 5 Jubilee links equals 3 oyster links

I don't know exact measurements. But, I do know on my DJ I removed a total of 3 jubilee links for a perfect fit, whereas on the oyster equivalent of that (and other similar models) I most always remove 2. So...take from that what you can.

Oh...and the screw is smaller, too, so you'll need a smaller screwdriver.

I don’t know the exact measurements but due to the fact that the links are smaller and there are more of them means you have greater adjustability

The links have more adjustability but it doesn’t have the glide lock clasp like a sub so. You size it exactly to what you want. And then there is like a small micro adjustment on the clasp.

Vs say the sub and other glidelock clasp...

I want to say I took 3 links out from my jubilee and 2 link out from the oyester.

Jubilee links are 8mm pin-to-pin. Oyster links are 10mm pin-to-pin.

This assumes full-size bracelets, of course.

I just received mine today, wasn’t sure what to expect, given how split the comments are in the forum. I must say it looks sublime in person, the blue is a deep blue and the red is almost burgundy in natural daylight. Not at all purple and pink. The jubilee is fantastic and comfortable, very solidly made and makes it look different from the other GMTs and definitely gives it the extra special look.

the bracelet is shorter (although i haven't measured) and the links are shorter. I have one link out of both the BLRO and LN and they fit the exact same.

Maybe its because its not exactly 1/2 an oyster link... but with 2 jubilee links out its too tight. So there isnt going to be a standard formula.
