PAM 00244 or 00333
Hi All,
I have narrowed my search to these two. Both are pre-owned with box and papers. If the price were the same, which one would you recommend and why? I can get only one at this time to see if I like Panerai watches. Thanks. |

Do you need GMT complications? If the answer is no then 333 all the way,I like the rarity of the bimetal models

Interesting choice.
I would tend to go for the 88 over the 244 and the 104 over the 333, as Panerais just work better at 44+, IMHO. If you are absolutely set on 40, then, I would go for 333 over 244, as the GMT is a bit crowded on the smaller dial (compared to the 88). But, do you “need” the metal bracelet of the 333? How about instead going for the 48? It might even be less expensive. Nothing beats trying a bunch on, though. |

Thanks for the input. I am not keen on bracelets and sure to replace them with after market leather strap. I do that on my Rolex watches as well.
I do have Rolex GMT and other brands, so 0048 or 00333 may be the one. The 333 is being sold by a trusted seller here this forum and I have bought a couple of watched from him in the past. So, I know the transaction will be as smooth as possible. Thanks for the input. |

The other interesting fact about the 333 is that it is Titanium case and should be much lighter than PAM0048/50 and other similar cases...

333 and 184 will make a good pair...
Congrats on the 333,one of the rare bimetal beast Another alternative for 42mm rad is 98,355 (both GMT + alarm, however the alarm isn't that loud),141 (Zenith movt),337,338 (both with in house P999 movt) 184 has JLC movt however the gmt hand is slaved to main hour hand, that's why it has inner rotating bezel for second timezone |

I really love this watch. It will be my daily. It is light and very comfortable on the wrist. It certainly is lighter than the 40mm I tried on at the boutique. The Titanium case and SS bezel gives this watch a unique look. Here are few pictures. Yes, it is already on a leather strap. I only had one 22mm strap that I thought will look good on this watch. I have started my search for some after market straps.
