Perhaps not the most rare models but here’s my favourites:
6538 tropical dial 6542 bakelite 6541 steel bezel 6263 lemon dial And once I feel grown up I’ll get a glossy black dialed 6062 and a tropical gilt dialed 6234. I really don’t need more than that.

Ah, how to narrow down? OK, I’m thinking of this more in terms of the tennis tournaments—how the Slams became what they are today largely in part to professional tennis entering the ‘Open Era” in 1968. Tennis was sexy, it had new-found (mass) popularity, and these four tournaments were the most prestigious & historically significant. So I’ll choose the References based on the above (prestige/historical importance, circa 1968ish production, popularity, and sexiness…hey, why not?) instead of my own personal favorite Grand Slam.
