Ad In Vegas/portland
Does anyone know of a good AD in Las Vegas or Portland, Oregon? One who may be willing to give small discount. Thanks in advance.

There are two dealers in the lower level of the Wynn Casino in Vegas. Both have extensive collections but I doubt that 'regular off-the-street' customers would receive much of a discount at either.

Hello Surfer and welcome to TRF. As I've never ventured over the pond I can't help with AD's but I'm sure someone here can. Good luck.

I had very good luck with Hyde Park Jewelers in Las Vegas. They are located in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. I purchased a non-date Sub from them and received outstanding service. Check out thier web site as they have two other stores. WWW.Hydeparkjewelers.com. Good luck.

Welcome to TRF, Surfer. Glad you found your way to our merry madhouse. Can't help you with your question, although I think there are some ADs that are off the Strip in LV who are willing to deal. You may want to check some earlier threads here (search on Las Vegas). You may come up with some names of ADs.

Check the various SCs on the different Rolex forums. A LNIB GMTII can sell for as little as $3200.00 a whole package at that, box, papers, tags, etc. =) maverick

Oregon has ZERO sales tax.
Sorry I don't know any stores to help you with. I was just a looky loo down there, didn't haggle for prices at all. Horologio at the Ventian had some wicked watches ( Hublot, Quervos, Nardin, Muller, .......) and were very helpful and eager to show me everything in the store.( No rolex thought)

Carl Greve in Portland and....
Downtown Portland you must visit Carl Greve (731 SW Morrison St.). Two story building, they carry all the important brands (Patek, Rolex, and others...), nice folks, pleasant place to watch gaze and discuss...
Also visit Alex and Co Jewlers/WatchWorks (711 Southwest 10 Ave). They deal in vintage pre-owned Rolex and have a watchmaker on site. I watched him work for 30 minutes and it is amazing what they can do... Another pleasant place to watch gaze.... They are both in walking distance (as is most of downtown Portland). -Sheldon |
