Purchasing a new Strap advice....

I am looking to purchase a new strap (alligator leather style) for my 5124G - I want to keep the original strap, which is getting a little tired, boxed away, and put on a new one. It will need to be a 21mm x 16mm.

Does anyone have any advice on possible options on where to purchase one? I assume that ordering one via the AD will not only cost more than it should but take forever?

Thanks.

First of all it s just takes weeks ,size will fit nicely and the quick release will be in place ,the colour will match and the feeling you got oem just an added bonus.

Thanks for this advice - I had rather assumed, like a service, it would take an eternity! I will drop by my AD and see what they say.

Jean Rousseau is amazing as is ABP Paris. Can’t go wrong with either.

Just playing around with the ABP configurator for custom made straps - that is a lot of fun!

Agreed. Ordering in person NYC Jean Rousseau is pretty cool also. They bring out the alligators and you pick which part you want based on scaling. Cool experience seeing a full camo gator.

Yes Jean Rousseau looks good too! Even if I am able to get an OEM from the AD, I think I will get a second strap in a different colour from one of these.

ABP is a great option with a quick turn around and attractive price. They make everything and anything to your specs. Very high quality. On your piece I would be inclined to order the PP strap if you like the color. I am sure they are in stock and about 425 to 450. PP just gets it right on the strap fit and feel for the particular watch.

Camille Fournet has made OEM Patek straps for a years and are usually less expensive than ordering from Patek directly. Their straps don't have the Patek logos on them though, in case that is important to some people. They are based in Paris, but do ship worldwide.

Most of my PP have a Camille Fournet strap. They are very supple. I go CF because I am able to customize them exactly to my taste. PP will not customize their straps.
