Icon20 Houston, TX area Rolex Event...

Hey gang, just passing some info along, I hope I don't break any rules...

Friday July 21st Ben Bridge Jewelers (at BayBrook Mall in Friendswood) will be having a special Rolex authorized event. We will have an additional 80-100 new Rolexes in the store (we ususally have between 90-100). As far as I know, our company is the only one Rolex has done this for. This will be my first Rolex Show, and I'm very excited.

I am not trying to solicite business, just mearly passing information to the Rolex loving public.

I agree. Thanks for the heads up, Val. It's always good to get these kinds of postings so people can take advantage of them, if they are so inclined.

Hey Val,
Do you know if there are going to be any Rolex reps. there and if they are goint to be doing "inspections"?

There is what sounds like a similar event scheduled in Columbus, Ohio Sept 28th at one of the ADs here. They're calling it a "Swiss Fest". There are supposed to be one or two Reps. along with a Rolex tech. that will do free "10 point inspections".
I'm told they will have an enhanced selection of watches to include rehabed pieces but as yet nobody at the AD knows whats comming.

Interesting, I just spoke to my contact at the AD that's having a "Swiss Fest" here in September.
They plan on have pressure test equiment and polishing equiment on hand as part of the inspection.
