New Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G Cost
Im curious why there is such a big price increase for the new Black Bay Chrono S&G vs the older Black Bay Chrono Stainless Steel? Is the gold on the watch really worth the $6,800 price tag vs the $5,050 for the stainless steel or is this the price hike everyone has been talking about that Rolex was going to be implementing? I don't really have a dog in this fight as I do not plan on getting either of these models but just found the price discrepancy interesting.

I'm not sure what the gripe is with the cost of the new Chrono S&G on a full bracelet.
Breitling charges $8200 for the same movement in their premier Navitimer on a leather bracelet, steel watch and no PM at all. Solid, wrapped doesn't matter, you get no gold. $6800 doesn't seem so bad. Makes the Navitimer seem way overpriced all things considered. But we knew that already right? |

AD told me the bezel and endlinks are solid gold. the rest are gold capped.
I put a deposit for the TT bracelet but now having second thoughts. The dial does look good and inviting |
