I don't think Rolex would care, honestly I think they encourage it in an effort to drive demand up the model lines to TT and PM.

Got a call from the same AD that my SD43 has arrived.. Was going to pick it up this week.. Hope my watch is still there... Been waiting since June

Let me guess, the ADs refused to put them on the SS Daytona wait list, or they were the first on the list but never got the call.
